FFL Disclaimer – Premium-Firearms.com
At Premium Firearms, your safety, compliance, and satisfaction are our top priorities. In accordance with federal law, all modern firearms sold through our website must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder for proper transfer.
What is an FFL?
A Federal Firearms License (FFL) is issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and authorizes individuals or businesses to engage in the sale and transfer of firearms. FFL holders include gun shops, manufacturers, and gunsmiths who are legally permitted to receive firearms and perform background checks before transferring a gun to the end buyer.
How the Transfer Process Works:
All firearms purchased from Premium-Firearms.com must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer.
Before we ship your order, we must receive a valid copy of your chosen FFL dealer’s license.
If you’re unfamiliar with this process, we recommend locating a nearby FFL dealer in your area and confirming the following:
They are willing to accept firearm transfers.
Their transfer fee and background check procedures.
Their pickup policy and hours of operation.
Once we have your dealer’s FFL license on file and have verified the information, we will prepare your order for shipment. You will automatically receive tracking details via email once your package is dispatched via UPS or USPS.
Important Notes:
It is your responsibility to coordinate with the FFL dealer for pickup of your firearm.
Most dealers will charge a transfer fee and conduct a background check as required by law.
Upon pickup, inspect your firearm carefully before completing the transfer. Once the transfer is finalized, the firearm is legally yours, and any defects or warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
We are not authorized to ship firearms directly to individuals unless they hold a valid FFL license.
Legal Compliance Reminder:
Before placing an order, it is your responsibility to ensure you are legally allowed to purchase and own firearms or ammunition in your city, county, and state. We strongly recommend reviewing your local laws prior to completing your purchase.
NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS:
Firearm sales must go through a federally licensed firearms dealer.
If you do not hold an FFL, your local dealer must send us a copy of their license before we can process your firearm order.
Orders placed without proper FFL documentation will be held until compliance is met.
